Open Garden Event 2017
Date: May 7th 2017
Location: Grovehill Gardens, Waringstown BT66 7AR
Brian and Shirley McKnight of Waringstown are opening their garden Grovehill Gardens to the public to support the Mary Peters Trust. The Open Garden Event offers a rare opportunity to explore the secrets of hidden and private gardens not usually open to the public.
Grovehill Gardens are made up of 4 acres of lawns, 3 acres of shrubbery and trees, a kilometre of walkways and a pond with Mallard ducks. There is a Follies garden, a Rhododendron garden, an Arboretum walkway, an arboretum, the Hot Bed, the Italian garden, the Ball Bell garden, the Wigglie’s Walkway, the Rockery, the Japanese gardens, Conifer Beds, Arizona gardens and many other areas of planting. The impressive elms and oaks are over one hundred years old.
We look forward to seeing you!
